Tone Löc and special guest Young MC are going to ROCK Davis Park Saturday, August 7! Don’t miss these two legends of Hip Hop in one epic show. Presented by 97 ZOK and RAVE, sponsored by Pepsi, Budwiser, Fox 39, Medicine Man, and Hip Hop Congress of Rockford.
JUST ANNOUNCED: Rockford's Own Fluid Oz. to Open!
Fluid Oz. was known for their outrageous stageshows, big horns and a modern psychedelic brand of funk rock reminiscent of pre-disco era bands such as Sly and the Family Stone and George Clinton’s Parliament Funkedelic. Fluid Oz. last played together in 2001, but the band will reunite for one night only to bring their hypnotic groove and funky dance party to the banks of the Rock River to kick off what will truly be an epic show in Davis Park. Fluid Oz. will take the stage for a one hour set starting at 7 pm before turning the stage over to Hip Hop legends Young MC and Tone Loc.
The Midwest Monsters Crew will also bring their unique breakin’ moves to the stage. The local hip hop dance crew will be performing before the concert and throughout the night.Â
