I just wanted to thank everyone who came out to Rumble in the Rock! Congrats to Pyce Wilson (Boxcutterz) for winning the event and taking home a mp3 player, covert empire t-shirt, and $50. The last time I counted, we had around 70 people at the event, and probably more all together. Thanks for coming out! The Hip Hop Congress and Battlefest came out of pocket to keep the event free because everybody needs to see what hip hop is really about in Rockford. The Hip Hop congress is a non-profit group, so any money that would have been made would have to go into hip hop events in the future.
